The Henry Ford Innovations: Every Voice is Heard: Inclusivity and Engagement Challenge

The impact of healthcare decision making, policy, and research is far reaching and complex, yet in many circumstances these decisions are made by a limited group of stakeholders despite best intentions. Emerging science supports that increased stakeholder engagement contributes to the success of healthcare policy, guidelines, and patient care. Henry Ford Health is committed to serving as a trusted partner in health nationally, in our local communities, and most important—each individual unique an amazing person we encounter one at a time.

There is a need for innovative tools that help healthcare leaders, researchers, and policy makers understand who their missing or unrecognized stakeholders are and provide a platform to amplify their voice and perspectives. Our aim is to capture solutions that identify needs of engagement to identify gaps in representation. Our team aims to actualize these needs with Real-World Evidence to support longitudinal efforts that improve healthcare and/or research processes.
