Brandon YoungBrandon has been in the healthcare profession for the last 16 years and currently serves as the Director of Safety, Waste Stream Management, EVS, and Pt. Transport, for Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. He started his career as a paramedic and spent the last 10 years of his paramedic career as a flight paramedic. He serves as Adjunct Faculty at Wayne County Community College, teaching both the EMT and Paramedic program. In his role at Henry Ford Health over the last six years he has served as an EMS Coordinator, Emergency Manager, and now a Director over support service departments. In 2014 he spearheaded a collaborative team to create a Mobile Integrated Healthcare program for Henry Ford Health that utilized Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to help expand care to patients outside of the hospital environment. He earned his B.A. in Health Services Administration from Baker College and is in his last year of the M.B.A. program with a focus on Value Driven Organizations from Central Michigan University.
