La’Trise Smith

La’Trise Smith, is a Human Resources Executive with 20 years of experience. Her passion is providing service excellence and business strategies for her clients by helping them build their HR infrastructure through, communication, enhanced leadership skills, compliance and developing relationships with their employees for better engagement, retention and company growth. Currently, La’Trise is the HR Manager at Henry Ford Healths, Detroit Campus and she is the owner of Level UP HR Consulting, LLC and Next Level Up Training, 501c3, where she spends much of her work partnering with small businesses and educating our youth on employment readiness and job retention skills. 

La’Trise has a bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University in Human Resources, a master’s degree from Western Michigan University in Educational Leadership, as well as SPHR certification and SHRM-SCP certification.

La’Trise enjoys spending time with her family; husband Edward Smith of 20 years and two sons, Xavier (11) and Nijel (7). La’Trise also enjoys spending time with her spiritual family at LAM Christian Church, under the spiritual leadership of Bishop Adolphus L. Cast Sr.
