Virginia SkibaDr. Virginia Skiba is a Senior Staff physician in the Henry Ford Sleep Disorders and Research Center. She is an Associate Program Director of the fellowship and Medical Director of the Cottage Sleep Lab. She is driven to improve work processes and improve efficiency, such as by streamlining the use of the Electronic Health Records and leading several process improvement plans to improve patient care and provider satisfaction. She started a PAP Donation Program to collect donated CPAP machines and have them processed and donated to those in need. Dr. Skiba has been involved in several research projects and is active in mentoring and publishing various articles. She has also been involved in the Michigan Academy of Sleep Medicine by volunteering on various committees, presenting several lectures, and serving on the Board and as President of the society in 2019. Outside of work she enjoys dog training and being outdoors with her family.
