Omar Sadiq, M.D.
Dr. Omar Sadiq is a chief gastroenterology fellow at Henry Ford Hospital. He was born in Saudi Arabia and migrated to Canada during elementary school. He attended middle school in the United States and has been in Michigan ever since. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Biology prior to attending Wayne State University School of Medicine. After obtaining his medical doctorate, he completed his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital. Upon completion of his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology, he will be completing his training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in advanced endoscopy. During his education and training, he has participated in numerous studies and research projects ranging from basic science research in aortic abdominal aneurysms to clinical studies in GI and liver diseases. He has an interest in programming and melding AI with novel technologies to improve healthcare and endoscopy. Omar enjoys cooking/grilling. He is an avid tinkerer and technology enthusiast.
