Wilma Ruffin | 21-22 Davidson Fellows
I have a BS degree in Business Administration from University of Detroit Mercy and a M.Ed. in Instructional Technology with emphasis in business and human services from Wayne State University.
I joined Henry Ford Health Systems in 2003 as Manager, Surgery Research Programs responsible for management of clinical trials and financial administration. I am currently a consultant in HF Innovative Institute. Prior to HFHS, I worked at Wayne State University as Sr. Grant & Contract Officer in the Sponsored Programs Office.
My passion is development of community outreach programs addressing health disparities--meeting people where they are, providing them with education and tools that will empower them to improve their quality of life while building trust of healthcare providers.
