Yawen Ning, LLMSW

Ning is a graduate of the University of Michigan(Master of Social Work) and Michigan State University (BA, Psychology). She joined Henry Ford Jackson Hospital as a psychiatric social worker in 2019. Ning is currently working closely with individuals battling severe mental illness and substance abuse. Her role is to provide therapy and help coordinate care between various treatment teams and agencies. She is also serving as an IBR board member at HFAH; Ning is passionate about research and research ethic. She recently started independent research investigating acute psychiatric services utilization among the senior population. It is to her desire to provide the best service to the patient and their family. She is driven to improve work processes, improve efficiency, enhance care coordination between various specialties.  Besides work, Ning enjoys camping, traveling, and cooking.
