Nabeel Shakir, M.D.

Nabeel A. Shakir, M.D., is Director of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery at the Vattikuti Urology Institute. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma and obtained his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He was selected for the Medical Research Scholars Program at the National Institutes of Health, where he gained experience with advanced clinical research methods and urologic imaging modalities. Subsequently, he completed his residency in urology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He then trained in the subspecialty of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery at New York University Langone Medical Center
