Rachel Muneio MSN, RN-BC
I am the Nursing Informatics Specialist within the Clinical Informatics Department for Henry Ford Health. In this role, I am responsible for working alongside Nursing and the Helios team to help optimize the workflow for nursing initiatives, incorporation of new technology for nursing and additional clinical staff, and more. I enjoy working on initiatives to help streamline the day to day work of the nurse and predictive analytics to help support clinical decision making.
Prior to my current role, I obtained my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2012 from Michigan State University, and have been a Registered Nurse for over eight years. I spent five of the eight years in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Henry Ford Hospital and another health system. I then transitioned into the role of Clinical Informatics Liaison in 2017 after I obtained my Masters of Science in Nursing Informatics from Vanderbilt University in 2017. I then became board certified by the ANCC in Nursing Informatics in 2019.
I enjoy attending traveling, Michigan State Football and Basketball games, hiking in nearby trails, and time with family and friends.
