Max Monahan is an Advanced Research Coordinator in Research and Sponsored Programs at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. He is responsible for managing the Investigator-Initiated research portfolio and providing research design consultation services to investigators. Max previously worked as a Project Manager for the Michigan Health Information Network (MiHIN) where his work focused on patient privacy and consent. During his time with MiHIN, he managed multiple Health Information Exchange projects, most notably, the electronic Consent Management Service. Max received his training from the University of Michigan where he received a Master of Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education and a Master of Social Work in Social Policy and Evaluation. He is passionate about addressing social determinants of health-related disparities though digital health solutions. In his spare time, Max enjoys cooking, movies, volunteering, and camping.
