Tom McGeeTom started working for Henry Ford Health (Wyandotte General Hospital at the time) in 1987 as a clinical Exercise Physiologist and has been working for Henry Ford Health continuously since 1999. He transitioned into healthcare IT in 2000 and also served as the Environmental Safety Officer for 5 years for Wyandotte Hospital, giving him valuable insight into medical device safety practices within health care. Tom has been with the Clinical Engineering department since 2011 and focuses primarily on medical device PACS systems (photo archiving and communications) as well as other digital devices and their data storage and connectivity within the network. Tom grew up in Shelby Township and obtained a B.S. degree in Industrial Health & Safety and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Oakland University. He currently has two children attending college and lives with his wife Paula in Riverview, MI.
