Sagger Mawri is originally from Yemen, and grew up in the Metropolitan Detroit area, in his hometown of Dearborn. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Henry Ford Hospital and currently serves as Chief Cardiology Fellow here at Henry ford. He pursued Interventional Cardiology with Henry Ford Heart & Vascular at Henry Ford Hospital. Currently, he serves as Co-Chair for the American College of Cardiology Michigan Chapter Fellow-In-Training Council and is involved in several other committees. He is passionate about healthcare, clinical research and quality improvement. He is intrigued by the role of technology in clinical practice and implementation of digital health and innovation in medicine, as means of advancing the field forward and improving patient care. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and various outdoor activities.
