Jennifer Maruri, RN, BSN

I currently work as an RN Appeals Coordinator for Henry Ford Clinical Denial Recovery Unit (CDRU) where I argue medical necessity in order to obtain appropriate reimbursement from insurance companies. Prior to my role in CDRU, I was an Appeals Coordinator for Macomb Hospital and also worked in the Admissions Management and Transfers Office (ATMO).

I have been an RN for 22 years, and have experience in ICU, stepdown, emergency, and utilization management.

I am interested in finding solutions to achieve more efficient, high quality, and lower cost health care for all.
