I am continuing to challenge myself and consider myself a great problem solver which I believe is a vital trait to be an effective innovator. I am fascinated by the way healthcare has been able to evolve and adapt to changes that the industry continues to be faced with. When faced with a daunting task such as a global pandemic event, healthcare professionals just seem to adapt and evolve in new ways of thinking, by finding new vehicles to provide patient care with out the loss of patient safety, care, and/or patient satisfaction which I find truly amazing. I graduated from Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, FL. with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a minor in Business Management Currently I am a contract sourcing specialist for Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI and have been for the past 6 years. Responsible for contract sourcing initiatives and supply chain directives which support Surgical Services & laboratory (Pathology and Research) commodities, capital, and related service and software for the entire health system. I have partnered with multiple departments to provide innovative solutions to our clinicians and help to drive savings without sacrificing value to our patients.
