Serge Bebko is a 3rd year Internal Medicine resident at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit. He completed his medical school training at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Peru. Before starting his residency, he spent two years working in clinical research for Baylor College of Medicine at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, Houston. His main focus was surgical site infections and its prevention. Serge is actively involved in the Internal Medicine residency program and he is particularly interested quality improvement and resource optimization within the hospital setting. His interests, other than clinical, include travel, swimming and snowboarding.
