Abdulraqib Anakeeb

I have had a full and varied career across multiple healthcare departments and organizations. Starting as a valet attendant at a hospital, then working my way through becoming a guest associate in the emergency department, patient advocate and patient access specialist. Finally, I was able to land on my long-term goal in the Healthcare Information Technology arena. With over six years in Information Technology, I have supported various Information Technology applications; managed and assisted various projects; and supported clinical staff in various Healthcare departments. I have volunteered to participate in several initiatives and innovations that achieved advancing healthcare quality and decreasing patient costs. I enjoy challenges since this is the only way that I can push myself to think and work beyond my comfortable zone, as a result, I discover and learn about things that I didn't knew about. I am comfortable working alone, but I enjoy working with a group of people because I get to learn things from a different perspective. Researching and discovering new ideas and solutions that can make a difference in our world is my hobby
