Visitor Restrictions

Due to the current rise in flu cases across Michigan – and to prevent the spread of Flu, COVID-19 and RSV, all Henry Ford Health facilities are temporarily limiting visitors.
Hospitals:
- Patients may only have two visitors aged 12 years or older.
- No children under the age of 12 are allowed to visit, including siblings, in the Maternal Child Health areas. NICU and Special Care Nursery visitors (including siblings) must be 18 years or older.
- Visitors are encouraged to wash hands frequently.
- Masking is recommended in areas where severely immunocompromised patients receive care.
- Visitors who have fever or respiratory symptoms are asked not to enter the facility.
Clinics:
- Patients may bring up to two visitors, age 12 and older
- Visitors should be free of flu-like symptoms; patients are encouraged to wear a mask if symptomatic
