Arielle Hodari Gupta, MD, FACS is the Chief Quality Officer at Henry Ford Hospital. In this role, she is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for quality, safety and regulatory programs.
Dr. Gupta most recently served as Associate Chief Quality Officer. Under her continued leadership, Henry Ford Hospital has maintained high safety standards and seen a dramatic decrease in hospital-acquired infections.
As an acute care surgeon specializing in surgical critical care, she also serves as the hospital’s Surgical Quality Officer and the Medical Director of the surgical ICU. Dr. Gupta’s clinical leadership helped Henry Ford Hospital achieve the American College of Surgeons Quality verification.
Dr. Gupta earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, followed by a general surgery residency and a fellowship in surgical critical care at Henry Ford Hospital. Currently, Dr. Gupta is a clinical assistant professor at both Wayne State University School of Medicine and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
