Why Henry Ford EM? I chose the combined Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine program because of my strong interest in both fields. I wanted the opportunity to care for patients in their moment of need in the emergency department, while also following them longitudinally and tracking pathologies over time. The chance to learn from faculty and residents with shared interests in ultrasound, wilderness medicine, and medical Spanish is invaluable. This program offers a perfect balance of comprehensive training and personal growth, aligning with my career goals.
