Time: Noon – 1 p.m. ET
Location: Virtual
Join MI Mind for a series of live webinars offered at no cost to physicians, behavioral health clinicians, nurses and individuals interested in the topics.
Larry Herren, LMSW, Behavioral Health Division leader at Community and Home Supports (CHS) in Detroit, will lead a critical discussion focused on the unique challenges and effective strategies for engaging men in mental health treatment and suicide prevention. Despite men dying by suicide at significantly higher rates than women, they are often less likely to seek or remain engaged in care. This session is designed to equip primary care providers and clinicians with evidence-based approaches to address this disparity. This webinar is open to anyone interested in the topic. CME and CEU credit is available.
