Cervical Cancer Support Services

Resources to help you stay informed and positive during female cancer treatment and recovery -- and beyond.

One of the most important resources for women during cancer treatment isn’t medicine. It’s being well-informed and surrounded by supportive people who understand what you’re going through.

There is a wealth of female cancer support groups and educational resources at Henry Ford -- and in our community.

Education resources

After your cancer diagnosis, it’s important to learn as much as possible about your specific condition and the treatments available.

Next, take a moment to learn what to expect before, during, and after your treatment appointments. In this overwhelming period of your life, it can be gratifying to know there still are many things you can prepare for and control.

Patients also tell us it’s helpful to get to know our women’s cancer team. Putting a face with the name of your care provider can be reassuring when you get ready to start treatment.

Support resources

We offer many different support groups for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers through the Henry Ford Center for Cancer Surgery.
