Shannon Crane, OD

Dr. Crane was born and raised in West Bloomfield Michigan. After graduating from West Bloomfield High School, she completed her undergraduate degree at Central Michigan University in Biomedical Science. She then continued her education to receive her doctorate from the Michigan College of Optometry.  Prior to joining Henry Ford OptimEyes, she completed a residency program in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury North Carolina. In residency she gained experience in the treatment and management of a multitude of ocular disease including Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, and Diabetic eye disease. In her free time Dr. Crane enjoys traveling, live music, playing volleyball, and spending time with family and friends.
