Capuchin Eye Care Clinic

Henry Ford OptimEyes has been partnering with the Detroit Capuchin Soup Kitchen (CSK) for over 10 years to provide a free eye care clinic for CSK guests.  Once a month,  Henry Ford OptimEyes volunteer doctors and team members provide comprehensive eye exams and eye glass selections. Glasses are produced off site at the Henry ford OptimEyes manufacturing facility in Oak Park, MI and dispensed the following month. During the month of July, a special clinic is held for school children only so they are not taken out of school for their eye examination and can receive their glasses before the start of the new school year.
