The Center for Simulation, Education and Research provides an innovative laboratory for clinicians to design new care protocols, train teams on their delivery, and research the impact on patient outcomes. Surgeons can test new applications of technology, such as robotic technology, for other surgeries.

Through the Center, medical educators also have the ideal situation for developing teaching methods that are individualized to each student, as well as for implementing curriculum standards and validating training strategies.
