Ashlee Carnahan, MS, RD, CLC, CPT, is the manager of Nutrition and Education Services and director of the dietetic internship program at Henry Ford Health. With over a decade of clinical experience, she has a special interest in meeting the nutritional education needs of high-risk surgical patients and educating grade school-age children on healthy eating and lifestyle. She holds a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Western Michigan University and a master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Central Michigan University. Ashlee was named “Outstanding Dietitian of the Year” by the Michigan Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2024 and serves as their Public Policy Director Elect. She currently sits on the Nutrition Care Process Terminology Board of Editors for ACEND and The Michigan Board of Athletic Trainers.
