In this recipe, cranberries offer a tartness that contrasts well with citrus juices, fresh herbs and spicy jalapeno. Cranberry Salsa Recipe
Yeild: 10 servings (1/4 cup salsa plus 4 slices of fruit)

Ingredients:
- 12 onces fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 green onions, finely sliced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 1/3 cup cilantro, chopped and packed
- 2 Tablesppons grated fresh ginger
- 2 Tablespoons orange juice
- 2 Tablespoons lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 apples, sliced into 10 slices
- 2 pears, sliced into 10 slices
Directions:
Add cranberries to your food processor and pulse until they are diced into small pieces.
Place chopped cranberries into a large bowl and mix with honey. Allow to sit for 30 minutes. Add green onion, jalapeño, cilantro, ginger, orange juice, lime juice, salt and pepper and stir until well mixed.
Chill for 2 hours or overnight. Serve with apple and pear slices.
